Bachelor of Science degree in engineering and over ten years of experience with automated guidance vehicle and advance knowledge in vehicle subsystems, or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Knowledge of AGV navigation systems including, guide tape, laser target, gyroscopic and natural feature navigation.
Good understanding of steering control, traffic control and the interface of multiple subsystems.
Proficiency in hydraulics, hydration, PLC’s, compressed air, and generator systems
Knowledge of performance and reliability factors of various commercially AGV systems
Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Suite and strong verbal & written communication skills

Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, depth perceptions, and the ability to adjust focus.
Overtime may be necessary as workload’s dictate. This may include weekdays, weekends and/or holidays.
Job will generally be performed in an office environment, but may require travel to visit a project site and vendor’s facilities, Conditions will vary at each location, but the conditions listed above will generally apply.
