BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
Duties and Responsibilities:
Partner acquisition and business development for conferencing and collaboration services with a primary focus on PGi’s proprietary iMeet and GlobalMeet online meeting products.
Combine an in-depth knowledge of the company’s suite of services with a clear understanding of industry trends and best practices to offer differentiated partner solutions.
Create and manage partner relationships via prospecting at the executive level.
Maintain detailed account development plans for key partners to support their financial and strategic goals.
Work collaboratively with other PGi business units and external vendors to provide partners with a superior experience.
Provide management with regular status reports of all sales activities, including project status, new business opportunities, projected revenue pipeline, and overall account climate.
The role is primarily commission driven with a strong focus on growth. Goals are based upon meeting or exceeding targeted sales objectives.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
Partner acquisition, business development and marketing experience selling in the technology and/or communication industries.
Strong fundamental technical knowledge with expertise in hosted technology solutions and/or telecommunications.
Excellent organizational, problem resolution and interpersonal skills.
Superlative written and oral communication skills with proven background in creating and writing presentations/proposals.
Ability to excel under pressure and maintain productivity with changing direction to support current business needs.
Exceptionally strong presentation skills (creating, purposing and delivering).
Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field.
Ability to travel as business needs dictate (up to 50%).
