Registered Nurse - Home Health Infusion
Per diem home infusion RN for the North Bay area. Visits clients in their home environment to administer varied types of infusions. Coordinates and supervises client care to ensure continuity and follow-through with Plan of Care. Records clinical progress notes at the time of each visit. Completes Daily Activity Record for submittal to the nursing department. Attends team meetings, staff meetings and in-service training, as well as initial orientation. This position covers San Francisco, Marin County and parts of Sonoma and Solano Counties. Prefer that candidate lives in Marin/Sonoma area. Crescent Healthcare is a premier infusion company that was founded in 1992 to provide home infusion services to patients with chronic and acute disorders. Today, Crescent Healthcare has nine locations in California and is a leader in the alternate site infusion field. Our experienced pharmacists and infusion nurses provide a full spectrum of infusion therapies to patients throughout California and other parts of the nation. Our expertise in chronic therapies such as IVIG is recognized nationwide. We also care for patients requiring acute therapies such as antibiotics, pain management and chemotherapy. In addition, we are experienced in providing both enteral and parenteral nutrition on either a short term or long term basis, as needed. Crescent Healthcare has extensive relationships with physicians and hospitals, meaning flexibility and quality care for our patients.
Requirements:
CA RN license required. One (1) year of acute care nursing experience required. Previous home health or hospice experience required. Previous experience in venipuncture and IV therapy administration strongly preferred. Must possess the ability to relate to and treat acutely ill/terminally ill patients. Must possess strong patient assessment and documentation skills. Must possess the disposition and personality to work harmoniously with a wide variety of people and all levels of staff, and interact professionally as a member of a multi-disciplinary team.
