About the Sales Tax Manager Position:
As Sales Tax Manager at Oracle, you will manage and coordinate internal and external resources to implement company tax strategies. Responsibilities will include and may not be limited to the following:
Manage the US sales/use tax compliance function.
Manage direct reports.
Interact with Sales Reps, Legal, Credit and Collections to address tax issues.
Conduct internal system audits for tax compliance and accuracy.
Reconcile tax accounts.
Maintain accurate tax and audit records
Preferred Qualifications:
BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
5-7 years of Indirect tax experience.
Extensive knowledge of software/hardware industry and the applicability of Sales/Use Tax.
Experience in audit defense procedures.
Strong analytical and accounting skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
Working knowledge of Oracle and Vertex.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
