Supervisor, Payer and Customer Service - Patient Financial Services

Supervises daily operations and functions of the collections for government, non-government, and customer service areas for the Sutter Health East Bay Region.
The Supervisor is responsible for the timely collection of accounts receivable and service excellence of customer service. This individual is responsible for resolving inter and intra-departmental issues / problems
Requirements:
Experience: Prefer two to three years supervisory experience, preferably in a hospital with experience in accounts receivable management as related to Managed Care, Medicare, and or CMAC.
Knowledge: The position requires experience in Managed Care and or Medicare and or CMAC, with a customer service background. Must have the ability to interpret and apply contract language in the collection of accounts receivable.
Special Skills and/or Equipment Used: The incumbent must have strong analytical and problem solving skills. The ability to handle multiple priorities, prioritize workloads and consistently meet established goals and deadlines. The incumbent must have strong oral and written communication skills. The incumbent should be well versed in Excel, Access and Word. It is preferred that the individual have experience with information systems administration, in particular with systems implementations, table creation and maintenance.
